1. What PrivateRoyale is
1.1PrivateRoyale is a private, invite-only, non-commercial game server run by fans for a small community. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean the people who run it.
1.2The original game's official service closed in 2024. PrivateRoyale's server software was written from scratch by its contributors so that the game can connect to a server again. Interoperability is a purpose recognised by Directive 2009/24/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the legal protection of computer programs (the EU Software Directive). That concerns our own server software only. It gives PrivateRoyale no rights in the game itself.
1.3PrivateRoyale is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or supported by the developer or publisher of the original game. The game, its software, names, logos, artwork, sound, and all other assets remain the property of their respective owners, and PrivateRoyale claims no rights in them. Nothing PrivateRoyale provides, including files delivered through the game's updater, comes with any licence to the game or its assets.
1.4PrivateRoyale is free and makes no money. It takes no payments, donations, or advertising, and sells nothing: no items, currencies, invites, accounts, or access. Its running costs are paid privately by the people who run it.
1.5If you hold the rights to the original game and want PrivateRoyale to stop, email us at . We will reply within three days, and on your request we will take the service, this website, and every file they serve offline within seven days. Other copyright notices are covered on the DMCA page.
2. Access and accounts
2.1Access is by invitation only. An invite key is personal, single use, and may be revoked at any time. Sharing, selling, or guessing keys is not allowed.
2.2You must be at least 16 years old.
2.3One account per person. You are responsible for what is done with your account and for keeping your password private. Sharing or selling accounts is not allowed.
2.4Your email address is used only for account recovery and, if you turn it on, two-factor codes. We never send marketing and never pass it on.
3. Conduct
3.1Cheating: using or sharing cheats, modified software, macros, or any tool that gives an unfair advantage, and exploiting bugs instead of reporting them.
3.2Harassment and abuse: harassment, threats, hate speech, discrimination, sexual content, sharing someone's private information, and impersonating players or staff, whether in chat, in names, or anywhere else.
3.3The service: attacking, overloading, or interfering with the servers, the website, or other players' connections, and trying to bypass sanctions, limits, or the invite system.
3.4Sanctions apply to the person, not only the account. Evading one with another account is itself a violation. Decisions are recorded and appeals are handled on our Discord.
3.5False or abusive reports are a violation.
3.6Cheat investigations: if several players report you for cheating, or our own checks flag your account, an administrator may ask your game client for two things — the list of programs running on your computer, and the list of modules loaded into the game client. By playing on PrivateRoyale you agree to this in advance. It is never automatic or continuous: an administrator has to request it, only administrators see the result, it is used only to look into that report, and it is deleted when the case is closed. Refusing or blocking the request is treated the same as an admission.
3.7No money: PrivateRoyale is non-commercial, and so is playing on it. You may not sell, rent, or otherwise charge anyone for accounts, invite keys, items, currencies, or services such as boosting, or for access to PrivateRoyale in any form.
4. Your content and your data
4.1You are responsible for what you post, including names, chat, and profile content. We may remove any of it without notice.
4.2To run the service we keep your login name, email address, a hashed password, your IP address and login history for 30 days, match and profile statistics, and moderation records. This data is used only to operate, secure, and moderate the service and is never sold or shared. You can ask on Discord for your account to be deleted.
4.3Characters, levels, currencies, cosmetics, and other in-game items have no monetary value and may be changed, reset, or removed at any time.
4.4The game client runs its own anti-cheat checks while you play and reports the result to the server during matches. These reports say which check was triggered and carry the values it measured. Nothing about your computer is collected this way.
4.5The cheat investigation described in 3.6 is the only case in which we look at your computer, and only at the two lists named there. Every request is logged with who asked and why, and the result is deleted when the case is closed.
5. No warranty
5.1The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, including availability, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
5.2We do not guarantee uptime or the preservation of accounts, characters, statistics, currencies, cosmetics, or any other data. Progress may be lost through outages, bugs, resets, migrations, moderation, or the closure of the service.
5.3To the extent permitted by law, PrivateRoyale and the people who run it are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service, including data loss, loss of progress, and the conduct of other players.
6. Termination
We may suspend or close any account, or the service itself, at any time, with or without notice. You may stop using the service at any time and ask for your account to be deleted.
7. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms at any time. The current version is always at this address with its date at the top, and material changes are announced on the login page and on Discord. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
8. General
8.1These terms are governed by the laws of Romania.
8.2If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
